MICE Attraction Marketing

We carry out a variety of marketing activities to discover and attract domestic and international MICE events to Gwangju.

• Discovering potential domestic and international MICE demand and proposing attraction offers

We provide various administrative and financial support services for MICE events held in Gwangju.

• Fostering regionally specialized MICE events (e.g., local conventions, K-MICE)

Discovery and Support of Unique Venues

We identify and support special venues throughout Gwangju to attract and host MICE events in diverse locations across the city.

• Discovering new and unique MICE venues, and providing support in education, promotion, and marketing
• Encouraging the use of unique venues and supporting their utilization for small-scale MICE events

Revitalization of the Kimdaejung International Conference Complex Zone

We are promoting the revitalization of the Kimdaejung International Conference Complex Zone, located in the Sangmu district, where core international conference infrastructure—including professional meeting facilities, accommodations, shopping centers, performance venues, and transportation—is concentrated. (Designated under the Act on the Promotion of the International Conference Industry, 2018)

• Expansion of integrated MICE infrastructure (accommodations, shopping, conference facilities) and joint marketing to activate Gwangju’s MICE industry
• Promoting collaboration with local businesses to ensure that the outcomes of MICE events within the complex zone benefit the wider community
